Augusto Pinto, professor, columnist, translator

One of the most amazing and
illuminating books about Goa, and more particularly about the Goan
Catholic ...The ease in the narrative and in
handling the social and political complexities of at least four
continents is breathtaking.
It is as if a novelist happens to be writing this non-fictional book
of history framed by autobiography.
